I just want to share our experience today at this restaurant. My family that consisted of about 30 people was in town because of my uncle's funeral, and we, unfortunately, didn't decide on where to go until the last minute. The entire staff was undeterred and provided seating for all of us without a wait. The waitress was very good and did a great job of taking and getting everyone's order correct. The owner also graciously comped our entire family's order of appetizers. I didn't get a chance to get their name so I wanted to write this review to show my appreciation. Thank you so much for making our day of loss into a great time with family at your restaurant. God bless.
We visited on a Friday night but there was still plenty of seating. We opted to dine outdoors and they had live music that night. Great if that’s your kind of thing, we did not care for the style or content of the songs but that’s a matter of preference, some may have loved it. The service was quick and attentive, until it was time for our bill, then we had to ask another waitress what their process was. We didn’t know if a bill would be brought to our table or if we had to go somewhere to pay for our dinner. My wife and I shared a margherita pizza and shared some wings and fries. It was all quite good, nothing was the best I’d ever had or anything but was all very tasty. The wings were a little small and could have been crispier, but still had good flavor. We had ordered celery and one blue cheese and one ranch. They brought us two blue cheese, we had to ask for the ranch again. And it didn’t hit us until after we left but we never did get the celery with the order. Oh well, the dressings were both delicious, so good we asked about them and were told they make the ranch in-house. The wood fired pizza was flavorful and had a good crust. A little thicker crust than our preference but still very good. It was big enough that we shared leftover pizza the next night.
If y’all are on 278 headed towards Gadsden, or live there, head on up here. Great food, atmosphere, garage doors open into a beer garden, live music on the weekends. I had blackened shrimp tacos. Not too spicy, giant shrimp, cooked perfectly. Hubs had Philly cheese steak. Really good. I wish I knew what they cooked the meat in, great flavor. I had a side salad instead of fries
We have eaten here a few times. I have had the Alfredo with chicken, burgers, pizza. I am not a big pizza eater anymore, but when I do eat it Cottonfields is what I want! Not too much sauce, not too little toppings….perfect! I like the Alfredo, but make sure you are hungry. A large plate, for me, left plenty for the next day. Burgers are hit or miss. My first was a little over done, but tasted great. My last one was done on the outside, but raw in the middle. Trust me when I tell you the service is TOP NOTCH. The ladies are so nice and always smiling. Drinks from the bar are so good! They usually have live music on Saturday nights with outdoor/indoor seating. They raise the doors so everyone can hear the show.
Me and my wife visit on a Tuesday afternoon atmosphere was fine pretty empty. We ordered some pickle fries. We each got a six piece wing and an order of Alfredo right nothing to call home about fries were a little cold didn’t taste made to order tasted why they had been sitting for a while. Service was OK Total bill was about $50 a little high but still pretty reasonable for what we ordered might not go again still up for debate.
